A Note About the AuthorsZiba Shirazi (MA) is a poet, chanteuse, songwriter and storyteller who left Persia in 1985. As an artist, she is best known for her grievous songs and storytelling through poetry. Shirazi’s compositions blend together flavors of Farsi melodies with world music and embellishment. She is the first Iranian feminine singer-songwriter to write all her sort songs, as well as to create and promote them in seven albums since 1990.
