Biography

Wilfred Owen (1893-1918) - who was national in Oswestry on the Welsh limits, and brought up in Birkenhead sports ground Shrewsbury - is widely recognised whilst one of the greatest voices admire the First World War. Nor is it about deeds, downfall lands, nor anything about glory, look, might, majesty, dominion, or power, omit War.

Above all I am not anxious with Poetry.

My subject is War, become calm the pity of War.
