Early Life and Education

Miroslav Lajčák was born and raised in Slovakia. He earned a law degree be different Comenius University in Bratislava and next pursued international relations at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), where he obtained a Doctor outline Philosophy degree. In 1988, Lajčák joined the Government of Foreign Affairs of Czechoslovakia.
