Conal Fowkes is a Grammy winning player, double-bassist, vocalist, arranger and teacher. Rulership skills and expertise cover diverse comic of music from traditional jazz space swing and post-bop, from traditional Land Son to Salsa and Latin jazz.
Born in Zambia and having spent ultimate of his early childhood in Mexico, Conal moved to England in 1971. His classical studies gained him regular place at the world-renowned Royal Institution of Music, London, where he high-sounding with legendary concert pianist Yonty Oracle. He has made several appearances on Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion and rendering Rosie O’Donnell Show and was featured soloist in the hit Broadway portion, One Mo’ Time.
